Mr. M the owner is a friendly guy, took good care in attending to services asked by us.
hotel has temple nearby, a pleasant experience and it was a festival time when I visited. Had some great street food. 24/7 (Retail chain) to avail basic amenities is just by the hotel and easily accessible. The entire street is beside B8 is buzzing and gives a very lively environment.
Don't leave the hotel without talking to Mr. M he sure will entertain you with his thai English.
I found this one with quite good reviews on agoda. Booked for 1 transit night. The hostel itself is a house built into a guesthouse with 8 rooms. The house is small with a tiny staircase and no lift, but the rooms are sizable. I was impressed by the cleanliness, security (swipe card at the main door and lobby door) and fancy facilities in the room for its level. The rooms' arrangement is also very much similar to home's decoration with 2 windows (I stayed in Room 401), AC, fancy mirror wardrobe, a mini fridge, TV, TV stand, make-up table, toiletries, towels, all of which makes it feel like home. The owner and staff are super friendly (the owner is very funny even though he can't speak English very well). The local street food is right outside of the house (we recommend the pork ball soup noodle several steps to the right of the house, cheap and so good). After a long trip, this is exactly the place we want to stop at before flying home. The location is not perfect as it is quite far away from the centre, but only around half an hour drive away from Don Mueang airport, hence suitable for a transit stay. Hope this is useful to those who are considering.
