The hotel was difficult to find as the sign is only written in Thai. It is located on a quiet street near the university. It is difficult to get to using bus or train so a taxi/car is a must.
First impressions of the reception were very nice, staff spoke english and check in was quick. The first room we were given smelt very stale and damp, and so we requested to move. They gave us another room without any fuss. The new room was better, although there was still a smell of damp, however we hoped the AC would clear that. After travelling for 10 hours we were just happy to get to a room to relax.
We awoke the following day to find hundreds of bugs across the bedroom floor and climbing up the walls of the bathroom. Obviously we made a quick escape. I would advise anyone to avoid the place at all costs, there is much better accommodation in the same area for a similar price.
