Who is looking for an adventure should first of all try to find the way from the airport by buses instead of a taxi. No one could really help and the address seems to be a very long street where the guest house is actually located in a sideway off the actual adress. It took us a while to get here, we were pretty sweated but it was fun searching :D
Besides that we were welcomed friendly and got our room 3 hours early than we were actually allowed to check in which was great. However, after a short nap and afterwards some minor advices how to get into town we havent seen anyone working here. We stayed three days and the last two of them we haven't seen anybody on the reception or doing anything else which probably also explains why we cannot say anything about the breakfast at all...simply because there was no breakfast! Glad that we were lucky enough to get our room the day we arrived.
All in all we can recommend the guesthouse if you do not mind staying a bit outside the town, do not require specific service and figure stuff out by yourself. The BTS stations is much longer away than 5 minutes. I would assume it takes you around 15 minutes to walk and then to take the bus in order to get there (just check GoogleMaps and you will see by yourself). I think it would be a big plus if the owner would write their address on THAI as well so that travellers can just show the piece of paper to people so they can help...otherwise its quite tricky to get there.
Wish you good luck with the guesthouse and who knows we may stop by another time again.
I have stayed at” Buongiorno guesthouse” for a couple of days as I needed somewhere to stay just before coming back to Europe.
I have to say that that this place is an amazing value for money!
The location is excellent, only 5 minutes form the BTS station!
Then the BTS connects you to where ever you want to go in Bangkok with ease.
The staff is great, very friendly and always willing to help, I must admit I was a on a bad mood when I got there, as my holiday were just running out, but staying with such friendly people really helped.
The food they serve is also very good, both Thai and western food, the only thing I was a little disappointed with is that they don’t do room service, but then the price of the accommodation must be considered.
All and all a place that I can’t recommend enough, if you are around East Bangkok and you need a cheap but quality place to stay, then Buongiorno is a no brainer.
