We were there in December and as we got there we were quite impressed what you can get in TLV for that price. The apartment was spacious and looked really good.
But when it got cold and raining we figured out that we can not close the window and the rain was falling right into the room in two different places in the apartment. It was also really cols ad you can imagine. The place is quite run down and I hope that the owners will oust some money in renovation.
Also the staff was kind of hard to reach...
Otherwise the location ids good and it still might be OK in the summer?
We arrived on Saturday, which obviously complicated things in Israel, there was no one at the reception and calling the number didn't work. We managed to flag down this young Russian teenager who was the cleaning lady and somehow communicated with her to let us in our room. Once inside, the toilet seat was missing, so she looked around and found a new one underneath the sink, I saved her the trouble and installed it myself (I consider a brand new toilet seat a plus!). Anyway the balcony doors would close just right and it was cold raining night, so the living room where I stayed was fairly cold at night, my friends said they slept like babies in the warm bedroom so, i drew the short straw. I went out to the port area which was just a two minute walk, #awesome, but when I came back the front door was locked. I didn't know what the code to get in was, and there was no one to call!!! thankfully, being from Rio De Janeiro, I'm a resourceful person with many interesting skills (Ala Liam Neeson in Taken) and I got inside the bulding. Checkout was much of the same, no one was around, I just dropped off the keys in the drop off box and made my way. Word of advice, Do not park in the streets, pay a little extra and park in the port area, stupid tel aviv meter maids will ticket your car twice in one morning, but that's a Tel Aviv issue not really this place's fault. Wifi did not work, I would rate this place lower, but i've stayed in some horrible places in my life, so the location and price save it.
* Free wifi signal too weak to use.
* Backs of the only two dining chairs broken so that if you sat on them you might fall onto tiled floor and hurt yourself.
* Two TV sets but neither working.
* Rang 'manager' who said she'd be there in 2 hours (to which she never attended and thus problems not rectified)
* Space in bathroom and proximity of toilet to door meant closing door after seating was impossible. Also when getting off throne bumped into cabinet due to space limitations.
* Space around toilet just not suitable for the larger person.
* Not value for money.
* No reception just three numbers on the front door, only one of which was connected.
* No breakfast.
Little street noise - but some from guests.
My worst experience ever.The appartman was dirty and stinky.Ther was no seat on the toilet.
The bed was full with hair.Wifi was not working at all.No reception,the key was left for us in the mailbox.When I tried to complain,they just hang up the phone.
The location is good, but unfortunately its disappointing. There was no hot water for two nights, dirty and the receptionist was rarely there for information. The worst thing was that the website advertises breakfast included and this is not true. Therefore value for money is not good.
