We chose this hotel for the quiet surrounding and very competitive tariff.
We were not disappointed, always hot water, nice rooms, beautiful garden and okay breakfast. Around 10 minutes walking to the center.
Alas it was very quiet this year because of the earthquake. People : go to Nepal, everything is fine right now!
I visited this hotel in June 2014 with my friends. The location was awesome and room was also nice. Free wi-fi was also available. It was a very quite place of Pokhara located very near to the famous Feva lake.
My husband and I stayed at Hotel Tibet Home for a few days around New Years, during a popular annual festival. The location was perfect because it was a quick walk to the Lakeside bars and restaurants, but also set back enough that we could get a great night of sleep without being concerned about late-night noise and crowds. The management was very nice and helpful, no issues. The property, along with our room, was clean and well-maintained, though we did come across a few ants roaming around on the wall inside. The room itself was cutely furnished and had all the basics we needed (table, chairs, closet, etc.). The mattress was a bit old, but certainly comfortable enough. Our room on the top floor also had a decent and generally consistent internet connection. Breakfast was included in our room and we enjoyed the food, which was basic eggs, toast, jam, juice, etc. The only downside to mention was the hot water. It's possible to rent a room with a hot water heater (presumably for a little more money), but many of the rooms run off solar heating (unavoidable among Pokhara budget hotels), so the availability of hot water was fairly limited based on the time of day. Overall, though, we found it to be a great value for the price and we really enjoyed our stay!
