I only stayed here because of the Sabbath which meant there was no intercity transport. I stayed in a dorm room for 2 nights. There was one other person sharing the dorm, and he was also stuck in another city due to Sabbath, so it felt like having my own private dorm. In fact the guesthouse was near devoid of guests, there was no one on reception because of Sabbath and the whole place just felt like dead and soul-less. I paid over 200 NIS for 2 nights and there's not even breakfast included. If you want tea/coffee, it's another 5 NIS. Which is ridiculous for that price.
Each set of bunkbed only has one electrical socket.
The Wifi was too weak in the dorm and I had to be outside the dorm to get a working signal and this is in winter.
The dorms had no locker and the receptionist suggested I do not leave anything valuable in the room. There's not even a hotel safe it seems or he just couldn't be bother to offer.
Apparently the guesthouses has a lot of services offered like TV/lounge area, concierge service, bar, games room. Due to the aforementioned Sabbath, non of these where actually available.
Location wise, this guesthouse is a little off the main thoroughfare where the tourist are. Although it's only 5 minutes walk to Ben Gurian Boulevard, Yafo street is eerily quiet at night even when it's busy on Ben Gurian.
Just to be absolutely clear, the place was clean, the WiFi worked, there's a kitchen and it was close to touristy area. It was just really over-priced for what you get
