I have to disagree with the previous review. Yes, the staff members are friendly (and there is free WIFI by the way) but our room was terrible. AC was broken, the shower hardly worked, the room was not clean (but I've seen worse) and room service did not show up even once in three days. A huge problem was the windows, which could not be closed properly. As the hotel is located at a very busy street and close to mosques and churches, you can imagine we did not sleep well. Yes, the hotel was inexpensive, but considering these issues I'm sure there are better alternatives.
Al Abdali Inn is a perfect choice for the budget-minded traveller who also wants to be as close as possible to JETT ticket office and bus station. The hotel is great value for money - nothing luxurious, however the rooms are clean and pleasant, en suite. It is a 15 minutes walk to get to the JETT station, a little longer to get to the city centre. Also, wanted to note that staff members are very, very friendly and strive to do their best to help you, and the majority of reception guys speak good English. I was also pleased with the 24 hour reception arrangements, as I have arrived late at night. For those who do not sleep very deeply in general, a word of caution - the hotel is next to a mosque and prayers start at 5am every day. Also, not sure if there is Wifi, but note I've never asked. All in all, I would stay here again - a big thank you for the great customer service, I felt very welcome and cared for!
