I don't usually write reviews about the hotels I've stayed in, but I feel that people deserve a warning about this place.
It's web page has plenty of photos showing clean, tidy rooms. They're not luxurious, but they look well tended. The reality is however, that this is more of a doss-house than a hotel. The place was absolutely filthy and had no running water. My room had not even been cleaned since the previous occupants had left. This can be seen by the bottles left around the room in the photos I'm uploading.
It was supposed to have a mini-bar in the room, which I was going to use to keep my bottles of water cold, but that was also absent. There was a non-operational air conditioner hanging out of the bedroom window in such a way that the window couldn't be closed.
The bathroom was so dirty that I really didn't like going in there. They hadn't even flushed the toilet after the previous occupant - if you get my drift!! When I complained about the room and the lack of water, I was moved to a different room. This was barely any better. The only differences were the existence of a sad, little trickle of water from the shower and lo-and-behold, the room had a minibar.... unfortunately, the minibar didn't have a plug!
On booking this hotel, I selected the 2 dinars per day for breakfast option. But guess what? It doesn't have any breakfasts - or even a room to have breakfast in! And they still tried to charge me for the breakfasts I didn't have!
All in all, this place seemed to be less a hotel and more of place which takes the money from poor families who were in Amman for Ramadan and couldn't afford anywhere else. In fact, it was because of my trip being in the middle of Ramadan that I was unable to find another room within my price range and was stuck in this dump for 3 nights. And that is the whole basis of this report - to warn other people about the sheer filth and lack of any kind of service they will experience by staying here. Be kind to yourselves and just don't!
