A place that was very clean with a nice bathroom. Owners are very nice and helpful. Also very close to the Vatican. The best part is that we had AC - something very unusual for a budget-friendly place.
Perfect service! Svetlana, with which we communicated in Russian, will guide you, will book tickets for you. If you want she will made coffee or tea in the morning. One morning we said that we did not find online opera tickets in advance. That evening we watched La Traviata in Salone Margherita! Tip: go to this opera house at least 15 minutes early, no fixed places in the sector tickets. And do not be surprised if the first intermission you be treated with traditional pasta dish. Call Svetlana sufficiently in advance of the arrival in Rome and she will book tickets to see the chic Borghese Gallery. This will save € 2 per ticket for online booking. The wide and comfortable room is cleaned every day. In the middle of our 7 day stay they changed the towels. Nearby there are good restaurants. Do not miss croissanteria (27, Via Barletta) - a wide selection of cheap snacks. Nice quiet place, great location – 6 min. walk to Ottaviano, 12 min. to the Vatican.
Stayed here for 4 notes Sep 24-28 was a little tricky to find as is located on an apartment
complex in Rome, having said that Nico the owner is a delightful person and so helpful
and wanting to make your stay as pleasant as can be. This is not a bed and breakfast as no
Breakfast but many coffee shops and bakeries close by. The room was a good size and good size bathroom. Nothing fancy but great location 10 -15 min walk to Vatican .....and close to metro
Thanks again Nico...
My boyfriend and i travelled to Rome for a weekend in June. We had a fantastic stay, if you are after a simple place to lay your head after a day of sightseeing look no further. Le Stanze di Nico is in a fantastic location 5 minute walk from the Vatican and a 2 min walk to the metro so you ca get to all the other sights. The owners were so polite and helpful supplying us with maps and always offering coffee. I would recommend it to anyone, I always felt safe and thought it was a brilliant quiet place to stay in the centre of a city.
