What a wonderful experience we arrived tired with beautiful fresh flowers on our table, chocolates left for us with all our breakfast stuff left in fridge, lovely bread, bacon, cereals and coffee and spreads,we then entered bathroom to find beautiful shampoo,s and conditioner. On the end of the bed was lovely decent sized towels and face washers extra chocolates. The chalet was very clean and warm,we met three staff members while having breakfast outside this morning, they were the gardener and two cleaners,we were impressed that once they saw us quietly having breakfast they discreetly left area, later that day owner Maurice turned up,what a beautiful caring man, explained some work next to our chalet had to be done, but again all parties polite and very pleasant,we even had a little sleep later that afternoon once work completed. It was nice that all maintenance did get done without to much disruption to our stay.Keep up the good work and Denise when ever we have come to mountains you have always been so lovely to us and have looked after us so well.We would recommend to all for a lovely rural quite setting and if you have the absolute pleasure to meet the lovely Lee next door you will be really welcomed by her great smile, and beautiful two horses,we were enchanted by all.
My stay at The Chalet was very relaxing and comfortable. Everything I needed for a relaxing break was supplied. I had the worst weather and yet I enjoyed my stay immensely and my two dogs were also so relaxed which I've never seen before. I highly recommend The Chalet for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It's lovely also as they supply the breakfast for you to cook and you also have a Devonshire tea to enjoy at the Tearooms. I definitely will be coming back even if it's bad weather again.
Our stay in the Chalet was fantastic. The accommodation is first class and the ambiance old-world and memorable. It was a peaceful and enjoyable holiday and we would recommend the experience to anyone, including a visit to the associated Bygone Beautys office and shop in Wentworth Falls where we enjoyed the complimentary Devonshire Tea
We visited Bygone Tea Room after a little hike at Wentworth Falls and before heading onto the Three Sisters. This was just a fantastic little spot to sit, relax, and enjoy some good tea! The cottage is full of hundreds of tea pots which is just fascinating (although a little obsessive!) Take some time to explore the store for the funniest/weirdest/most beautiful pots you can imagine :) But the warm fire place, good service, and divine tea/scones made this a MUST STOP place on my list!
*NOTE* we didn't stay at the cottages but I definitely going to look into it when my parents come to visit!
We have been coming to Bygone Beautys for the past 5 years and always stay in the workers cottage. It's situated in wentworth falls over looking the bushland with horses around you. You share the land with a few other cottages, don't seem to see anyone as they are all very private.
It's a nice drive from the city where you are away from everyone and can relax. You have a lovely breakfast where you cook at the time that suits you. Don't forget the lovely devonshire tea waiting for you at the laura tearooms. It's a lovely place for a couple to have time alone. We will continue coming back.We always look forward to coming every year, thank you for a beauitful cottage to stay in.
