We were looking forward to staying at Honeydew's Retreat after a tiring dust-filled but enjoyable long busy and hot road tour around Rajasthan, and the description of Honeydew's seemed to hit the spot, but this was not to be after discovering that the shower didn't work at all in our mouldy unclean ensuite. The room itself was a good size, but not thoroughly clean with one very small bed sheet on the bed - no top sheet to be found. No wifi, which had been promised, and no dinner available at the establishment. This is a PURE VEG establishment so no eggs, butter, cheese, OR toast - for us at our early breakfast prior to the long drive we were facing from Pushkar, all the way back to Delhi. Sitting on the long verandah on arrival with a long cold glass of water looking out across the grassy yard was the highlight of our stay here. Staff were as helpful as could be, but management/owners need to spruce this place up enormously and ensure what they offer - like showers with running water, cleanliness, no wifi and only pure veg food available - are promoted honestly. Our driver took us for dinner to a wonderfully enjoyable non-veg buffet at a nearby upmarket resort, whose name I can't now recall.
honeydews a lovely place to be stayed at in pushkar. Clean and spacious rooms with a front lawn. the staff is really friendly and help you in whatever way they can. moreover, reasonable rates. i found it good n i highly recommend everyone to stay there.
Being at the Honeydew in Pushkar is like being right at home! A short walk to the market area or to the lake for a watch of the beautiful sunsets.....the rooms are clean, and so are the bathrooms; the staff and owners are most helpful with any issues. The rates are reasonable whether one stays only one nite for an entire month; there is a restaurant on the property with a full menu.
