We stayed here just right after the typhoon Nina. The whole city was devastated and hotels are all fully booked, good thing, may available na family room dito. Kaya wala kaming choice kundi mag-stay. Pagdating namin don, sira ang mga cottage due to typhoon, madumi pool, madaming kalat & mahina aircon. Though we understand that katatapos palang ng bagyo & holiday pa. Sana lang maiimprove nila yung service & amenities.
With my husband's wish to sleepover in an affordable place and where there is a pool, we decided to stay at Ramashinta. The room (Php1,200/1,300 for 12 hrs stay) as what I saw on their website is Balinese inspired. But on the night that we stayed there I saw small roaches underneath the rag as well as in between the cabinet. I felt uneasy knowing that there are roaches around. Also the bed and linens seemed to be dusty. Thank God I was able to survive the night and only wished to have a nice bath the following morning. But again another problem occured, there was insufficient water supply. And this took me sometime to finish bathing. The only consolation that I got was that my husband enjoyed the pool but since he too experienced the water problem I doubt if he still feel the same way. One more thing, I raised my issue with the personnel but the only answer I received was just a confirmation that they really are experiencing water shortage. What a way to handle customer complaints. :( But there are also some advantages if you stay here. 1.) They don't apply the 12 nn check out and 2pm checkout. For example you chose 12 hrs stay and checked in at 8pm your check out time will be 8 am the following day. 2.) Inclusions for 12 hrs stay, free use of pool but no breakfast but for 24 hrs stay you can avail both. 3.) And the price seemed affordable for those who want a place to stay and enjoy the pool amenities. But I prefer cleanliness and reliability of the basic needs (water and electricity). None of these will only discourage me to go back in this establishment. Hope my review helps. :)
