I visited this hotel for a business trip. It is nice and cozy! The room was big enough and very clean, even if the hotel is a bit old. The breakfast is nice, a basic one! The staff is very friendly. It also has a pool where you can relax!
We were booked into this hotel and after reading the reviews I was very nervous about staying here. However, I needn't have worried as this is a lovely family run hotel which is spotlessly clean! Our first room- room 403- was simple and dated but very clean and comfortable. There seemed to be no aircon in there however and there was a smell of stale smoke but it was liveable. Unfortunately the toilet pipe started leaking and after our second night, we were moved into Room 301 (via room 401). 401 is one of the suites and it's very spacious but very, very chintzy and dated. Room 301 was a newly renovated room which was nice and fresh. It was great. When all the hotel rooms are made over like that it will be fantastic.
The staff are warm and friendly and keen to help.
The breakfast was basic but did the job.
Sadly the pool wasn't open yet- this weekend apparently so my son was very disappointed.
The hotel is far from the sites of Athens so we didn't get a chance to see the Acropolis, but we had a great time in the local area. The hotel staff are also happy to order take away food to be delivered and we utilised that on the first night when it was pouring with rain.
Would definitely come back. Thank you Green Hill
The hotel's main facilities are in good state and the staff was very friendly. However, the room was a slight disappointment the airconditioning/heating could only be controlled from the reception with two choices: on or off... The minibar was empty... There was no "instructions" e.g. How to reach the reception or when breakfast was served in the room.
