Great location in the heart of the city. I stayed at the winter theme room, it was so calming and peaceful. Liked it a lot! Breakfast room was terribly busy with lot of guest and was hard to find space there. I quess it just tells how popular this hotel is.
Stayed for a night on 3rd Dec and had a really good experience with the front desk staff. Very polite and helpful despite me being Asian and the hotel was very crowded and busy during this period. Breakfast spread was good and the hotel has ample seats at the lobby. Nothing to fault them honestly.
Another good quality hotel with wonderful view towards either to house of parliament or “Narinkkatori”. (Unfortunately there are also views to the hotel backyard - not so fancy.) A scenery to city opens also from their restaurant where breakfast is served. Architecture of the interiors is nice, modern, typical Scandinavic, a bit spirit of 70’s too. I have stayed here several times during the last year and have been quite pleased. Rooms are clean, well equipped and comfortable. Every floor has its own theme of interior design in wallpapers, carpets and so on. For example Tranquility, Winter Storm, Sisu (“guts”) and Fairytale forest. I think this is good value for money. Location of the hotel is very central and the breakfast was rather satisfactory though with no surprises. Furthermore, around the corner is one of the best sushi restaurants in Helsinki: Itsudemo. I would certainly stay there again.
