THIS PLACE GETS NO STARS FROM ME! So we stayed here in February 2019, we got in for 4 days and every day our room price was charged to our card when we paid, then a second time a few days later. When we told the manager named Ryan he acted like we spoke another language, told us he didnt see it on his end so regardless that it happened 4 times we need to have the bank tell us what a pending transaction is versus a posted transaction was. I was like seriously so none of this is your fault, you are not going to be a manager amd take responsibility for this! REALLY?! Then we were told the manager would be in at 11 but we woke up to a phone call at 9am that we were placed on the Do Not Rent list .......for doing nothing wrong but complaining about our cards getting charged double for 4 nights. We obviously need to be punished for speaking out against an establishment who doesnt take responsibility or believe in customer service. Thats it. .......Did I mention that the day before the maids never came to clean the room and when they did come we had to tell them to clean the room like we were new guests because they were not cleaning, they were swirling dirt around in circles thats about it. ......but yes so if u want a hotel that does not clean and takes your money 2 times each time, and places a hold on random amounts on yoyr debit card,Motel 6 Thousand Palms is the place to go. And even though they dont tell you when you reserve a room at the desk they take 50 dollars out your account the next day that happened too. They are stealing people's money not telling them they hold money on their card then its released days later. HOW ILLEGAL IS THAT!.....I will be contacting corporate. Ryan the manager knows what he is doing and he will be exposed for it.
Motel 6 Thousand Palms, CA was the worst experienced I had to deal with. That Indian young guy (Manager) will rip you off. I was overcharged and he won't reimburse me. I requested a manager to speak to, he said, I'm only one who can approve this. In result, I had to contact the corporation and file complaints. They finally reimbursed some money. Not the whole amount. But at least I got some money back for staying for 2 nights. Without any apology. Make sure to keep your info and check the amount before signing anything. The manager was unwilling to listen, very unprofessional and rude!! Plus, there a lot of drug dealing outside and the noise was unbearable. I had to put my earplugs to try to get some sleep. The noise from the freeway and people were very unpleasant. If you like unpleasant staying, like their commercial "We will leave the light on for you." I have one word for this place....RUN!!! Do not stay on this hotel 6. I travelled a lot and this was the worst experience I had to deal with. I hope this help.
Choose any place but this one. One of the worst parts about the stay was the lingering smell throughout the room and hallways. The reservation ended up being under a completely different name. Unprofessional.
