On a general note, the hotel is very good, However would be nice if the name on the booking matches that at the front of the hotel. One reads park & Suites and the other reads MySuites Inn. Also on the SatNav, there is no number 57/61. Numbering finishes at 60, Once again, all in all, a very good value for money and would recommend it to friends.
As I needed to be in Lognes for business, this location was perfect. Otherwise it's30 minute RER train ride from central Paris. Also, it's not so far from Disneyland Paris, so it's an option for families visiting that, too.
The hotel's 15 mins walk from the RER train station. The reception staff were friendly. But the first problem was finding the room. Arriving in darkness in the evening, we were given a room in a separate building. But with very poor instructions, no lighting and no signs, we just couldn't find it. After going into two wrong buildings and wasting 20 minutes, we eventually had to ask the staff to come and show us were it was. The next day we saw several other people having the same problem. Hotel needs to fix this (more lighting and signs needed)!
The rooms itself was big enough and very comfortable, although only cleaned once a week. Shower/bathroom was poorly designed. Neither my room telephone, nor my colleague' s room telephone worked, even after reporting the problem!
Nice small kitchenette (with microwave and fridge, but no kettle!). Since breakfast was €14 and was very poor value for that price, it's much better to buy items and prepare it yourself in the room's kitchenette.
Liked: Very comfortable room, nice size; friendly staff.
Disliked: Little details; poor breakfast; not easy to find room.
We booked an appartment with 2 double beds and 2 single beds. It had a kitchenette, so we could make our own breakfast. The beds were good, the rest was average. Not very clean but good enough for 2 nights.
The best things were the distance to Disneyland Paris and the rate of EUR 85 per night.
Read the previous reviews and must admit was slightly worried about our stay. We had booked a deal through a travel agents that disclosed hotel details 72 hours before travel so we knew it would be a gamble. In my honest opinion it paid off well enough.
Our party consisted of myself, my wife, mother-in-law and my daughter(5) and our holiday plan was to take in Paris and Disneyland.
Arrived in via train, which is easy enough once you get the hang of it. The hotel is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station (directions given on hotel web page easy to follow). The hotel is located within a residential area and as such the block of flats at the end of the street does have a bit of graffiti on the gable end, but when it comes to Paris you can't walk far without seeing some form of graffiti so was not put off overly.
Was greeted at reception by very friendly and welcoming staff. We had booked two rooms and were given two very spacious one bedroom studio apartments. Only flaw was the carpet was slightly thread bare but otherwise very clean and comfortable. Had seen comment regarding patio doors not closing properly I think this might have been user error, took a bit of playing about as i too thought they wouldn't close again after opening just had to figure out the catch mechanism.
Breakfast was ideal, plenty of variety and well tended for again by very friendly staff. Did not eat in restaurant so can not comment. Did however eat a couple of times in the restaurants nearby train station. Good variety on offer from Tex/Mex, Chinese, Indian and traditional French.
Family friendly and welcoming accommodation with easy travel to Paris(30 min) and Disneyland (10 minutes)
We travel alot but this hotel should be closed down, we arrived early in the morning to be told bluntly that check in is 3pm we asked if there was luggage storage they said no put it in the telephone box (no security ). We asked the staff if there was anything around local but they just grunted there is a supermarket down the road, the vicinity is dirty with graffitti everywhere and rough teens hanging around, definately did not feel safe, we found the train station which is about 20 mins away called torcey but if you buy a pack of 10 tickets it does not cover this station as it is out of the zone so we jumped the turnstyle every day once in the closer zones your tickets were ok, it takes about 40 mins to get into paris, when we eventually got to our hotel we were given the key 101 no direction or assistance with luggage, the room was very dirty and old the carpets were stained and there was crumbs and dust not to mention dead coackroaches. The bathroom had broken tiles and no tiles around the plumbing area well it looked like there used to be, the sheets were soiled and the lamps did not work, the cutlery consisted of 1 plate and 3 cups 2 knives 1 fork and 1 spoon. The bar was never open, we complained but was told all rooms were taken thankfully we were up and out by 8am and not back until 8pm so only used it to sleep we were there for a week to long. The staff are rude and not friendly at all the laundry is in the underground carpark but that was locked we asked reception to open it but they said they did not have a key so no laundry. Thankfully the rest of our holiday and accomodation was first class. Never ever go to this hotel i know they say dont go by reviews but believe me it is not a hotel you would want to stay in.
