Patagonia B&B is located off the beaten track, but that makes it really special. Our room had a great view of the front yard and mountains. There's a swing set in the front yard if you like that sort of thing. The breakfast is excellent with sweet rolls, orange juice and cereal (yay!). Also, the breakfast room has a wonderful view and a lot of light. It's really a wonderful way to start the day.
Also the bathrooms were great. Relatively new showers with lots of hot water.
The front staff will help you plan your trip, give you maps of town and generally be helpful. They helped us organize our trip to Torres as well as rent a car for other adventures.
I didn't see any horses kept on the property, but there were other horses around the house.
The hotel is located pretty far from town (past the bus station and what looks to be a prison of some sort). We took a taxi each time we needed to go in, but the taxi's are a flat rate of 1.500 pesos if you call them or 1.000 pesos if you flag one down. Super cheap and easy. Also its 5.000 pesos to/from the airport.
Pleasant hosts but breakfast room was far too crowded - could not sit down if full. Breakfast good.
Rooms - too dark ,could hardly see in bathrrom.
Had to catch taxi to go into town -about 4 km or more away.
Claudia at the desk went right out of her way to help us even with airline bookings.
Its clean and newish, set in a garden off the road with a great view of the sea and Patagonian countryside. Its away from the centre a little but not too far. Don't let that put you off- its about a mile and only a couple of dollars taxi ride. Claudia is very quick to call a taxi and one arrives very quickly. My main impression was cleanliness quietude and friendly exceedingly helpful service. She booked us a fantastic tour of Torres Del Paine. No other gringos- all Chilenos. Just what we wanted- authentic and INCREDIBLE.
Great to have local contacts like Claudia. Torres Del Paine is unmissable- one of the most beautiful places I have ever seen.
Stay at this hotel folks- its really pleasant with a great personalized atmosphere. The wifi works fine and there is cable service. Puerto Natales also is a very pleasant town with a wonderful seaside ambience. Claudia, who seems to be the manager is utterly wonderful too.
