Everything about the hotel stay was excellent. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help.
It's sandwiched between two busy roads but you can't hear the road noise too much. The Google Maps pin is exactly at the location of the hotel.
A few other things to mention;
1. We searched Booking.com specifically for a place with a bath but there was no bath.
2. We also reserved a double room but it was 2 single beds pushed together (that does not equal a double bed).
3. If you are on the 1st floor you can hear all noise coming from the restaurant below (chairs scraping, plates clashing etc).
My brother and his now wife had their wedding here. The location is amazing and the scenery is beautiful.
The rooms are all different and all stunning. No one had any complaints about their rooms.
The weather was beautiful and so the wedding was completely outside.
The sound system - terrible. Make sure this is checked a LOT before the wedding. Ours was terrible.
Waiters and waitresses were all helpful. Language barrier is an issue at times but they will always try and help.
Food lovely, drink choice great and overall, the perfect place for a wedding. Thank you.
Beautiful small family owned hotel on equally beautiful property Marvelous restaurant and wonderful service. we look forward to returning. It is set on a hilltop with panoramic views that include a glimpse of the Atlantic.
Only went to the restaurant. The woman wasn't particularly welcoming initially but she then warmed up.
Food was nice although I had to send my duck back to be cremated but it was still a little too underdone for my liking but that's how it is eaten abroad.
Service was quick and everything was traditionally cooked and homemade.
Views were breath taking, mountains and greenery and on a good day you could see France apparently.
Lovely remote restaurant.
