We stayed as a couple before taking the ferry to Kangaroo Island. It is a period home with tacked on extensions and renovations. Beautiful ocean and countryside views. Cute farm animals and activities for children.
It was lovely but the living area furniture needs to be reorganised so you can see the TV. Also some pet hair on the couches and kitchen sponges a bit old and manky.
The bathroom is also located in a weird spot in the living zone. Kitchen is 70-80s style and needs a renovation. Bed was comfortable. A range of breakfast cereals, toast and spreads were supplied which was appreciated.
We could see this layout and farm animals would be fantastic for extended or multiple families with young children. Overall a pleasant stay.
We stayed here for a couple of days and it was great.
I made a one night booking through the website, later I added a second night and they were happy to help.
I was contacted by phone and e Mail with clear directions, It couldn’t be easier.
We( my wife and I ) enjoyed the “escape” and my daughter (14 months) loved feeding the animals. The goats were her favourite.
The house is big enough for multiple families to stay in, with queen sized and bunk beds available. Heaps of modern features like new bathroom, big screen tv with DVD’s to chose from and a log fire.
Loved it here, we will be back.
We spent a great night at the farm, it was a last minute booking, we did not read any reviews before confirming, and George was very accomodating, and explained the whole process to us. Our kids were amazed with the farm animals, and we were just so relaxed with the view and the silence. The farm is near the road but it did not affect us much. 4G reception is great as there is no wifi.
We will definitely recommend this place.
