My husband and I visited Fiji for the first time just before Christmas - where do I begin
The resort was isolated with no one giving you any information as to what the guests can do whilst visiting - talking to the other guests we found out that we can take a taxi to town which we did for very expensive price - apparently the fee can be negotiated!
The resort was meant to be child free which was a plus for us - but on the weekend we were there teenagers were present for the entire weekend - staff were friendly on the first day then lost interest- I wanted to speak to the locals , get to know the customs - no joy there
Room was spacious but the television was far too small for the room .
Paid extra for a spa attached to our room
Was not functioning- full of stagnant water - when I enquired about it - the receptionist said it was a plunge pool - was dirty did not use
Also had broken tiles and unsafe to use .
The food also left a lot to be desired - if your stuck there at least try and make an effort to look after your guests - everything overall was overpriced and underwhelming.
I’m sure there are better places to stay in Fiji
I would not even rate this place .
I've stayed at the hotel a few times, with the most recent stay in July 2018. By far the best thing about this resort would be the beautiful beach and stunning blue waters. Also, other related beach activity (beach volleyball, kayaking etc) is very enjoyable.
While the beach front rooms are fairly good, the amenities offered by the hotel are pretty much average.
On the other hand service provided by the F&B team is phenomenal. The reception team is also very good, but the service provided by the concierge is very poor.
All in all its a good place to go for a weekend getaway.
I dont know what to say. Everything about this resort was amazing!!! The views. The food. The people. The villas.
Being an adults only resort we had the peace and quiet we were after. The only noise we had to wake up to was the birds.
The pool and dining area overlooked a beautiful calm beach, which was crystal clear. You could see star fish without the use of a snorkel.
The resort has a tour desk, which they organise everything, all you need to do is hand over the cash. Again, no stress.
The nights are filled with drinks, food, music and lots and lots of laughter.
The best selling point is the staff. They all go above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best ever. They always make you feel welcome with a smile and a cheerful 'Bula'. Everyone makes you feel like part of a family.
Most certainly will be returning.
