If you plan on not making any noise, not walking around, using the bathroom and kitchen then stay here. We rented the top floor and there were other guests downstairs. They complained to the owner (who also lives in the property- info we weren't told) that there was a lot of noise. I personally went to speak to the other guests and they told me that they did not complain about us but about the fact the owner should not have rented both the upstairs and downstairs as you could hear every single thing- toilets flushing, taps on/off, walking. The owner threatened to kick us out on our first morning as a 'solution' to a problem that was neither ours nor the other guests. The other guests just decided to leave and assured me this was not our fault. We missed our morning in the slopes as we were not sure if we would have a place to stay that night. To make matters worse, at the end of our stay we were told to never come back. I like to enjoy my holidays with family and friends, so will not be staying here again.

Recently stayed at Wanderer's Retreat and was pleasantly surprised by the good quality of facilities, comfortable accommodation and welcoming atmosphere. It was really good to have a warm and comfortable place to come back to after a big day of skiing. I will come back next year in winter as it is excellent value for a very reasonable cost. I would recommend this place to any family or couple - my wife and I had a great time there.
