My friends and I had stayed here for four nights in June 2014. The room was surprisingly spacious and comfortable considering the price we paid. The hotel manages to be centrally located and quietly secluded. The garden and running water added to the peaceful ambiance. Loka is a great host, serving us breakfast promptly, organizing transportation for us and even letting us borrow sorongs to wear during our stay.
The only negatives were that our room was a little dusty, possibly from termites, and that when it came time to pay there was a misunderstanding between us and Loka about the price we had agreed on. So make sure you double-check the price.
The owners, papa & mama Loka, are so sweet. They were laughing with us all the time and they put tea and pancakes on our balcony every morning. The room was big and bedd were good. Warm water. It's a shame we only stayed there for 2 nights, would love to stay longer.
We stayed here for 3 nights in July 2013. The owner and his wife couldn't do a enough for us. breakfast was ready for you whatever time you got up to enjoy outside on your decking. The guest house was a little hard to find as its a little of the track but its right behind the football field that the local kids play on. There's some nice laid back bars in the vicinity to enjoy as well as some lovely restaurants. We would definitely stay again if returning.
Only negative I could possibly think of during the stay is when a massive Gekko took a poo on one of the chairs outside during the night and I sat on it first thing the next morning! It's funny now, not so much then!
