Good stay if really wants the peace of mind.
Atmosphere is too good specially winter.
Food is also served in room by nearest restaurant.
Near from Temple located at near Shirdi Railway station which is a good place
The highlight of this place is its friendly staff who make you feel at home. Even though they don.t have restaurant facility. they manage to serve you from neighboring restaurants which serve good food.
The highlight is swimming pool where you can relax and have fun with you kids.
Only the interior of the Hotel and rooms deserves full marks. The service part really needs to be improved. The 4 start rating is also invalid, it should be 2 star hotel for the kind of service they provide. There were many problems that i faced, let me start step by step Courtesy welcome : I have been to different 3-4 star hotels and this is the first thing that i experience is a warm welcome with all the information regarding the hotel facilities that i will be getting. At Sai Dharam Palace i was not at all educated about the facilities that i'll be getting in terms of WiFi, breakfast timings etc proactively The room boy didn't even had the courtesy to carry the luggage that we had with us. 1) Location: The sites says that the Hotel is opposite to the Railway station but its actually pretty far(500m) from the railway station. The actual address should be opposite to the road going towards railway station i.e on the highway. You need to take a right turn from the highway and 500mt inside, the Railway station appears. 2) Wifi: Wifi is only available in the lobby area and not in rooms (as per the receptionist) big disappointment!!! 3) Torn Towel : One towel was torn in the corner and the other had all the wool faded(seemed pretty old but washed) . Next day when asked for a new towel it seemed to be of low quality which was leaving wool on the body from the towel after wiping. 4) Television : T.V not working properly as all the channels were blurred (pic attached) 5) Food Not available : 1st day got the breakfast but didn't got what was there on the menu and hence had to go for other options provided, -Ordered Dal tadka and Jeera Rice for dinner at 10:20 PM and got Dal khichdi and manchow soup surprisingly(receptionist gave a reason that he got whatever was available as the restaurant was closing. Also the receptionist didn't even bothered to confirm the alternate food that he was getting for us) i think normal restaurant closing time is 11:00pm in Maharashtra. Food was brought to the room packed in a foil for Roti and carrybag for curry items. They also gave plates and spoons along with it (But this is not the way a 4 star hotel serves) -Next day when asked for breakfast at 8:00 am, receptionist denied saying that breakfast will be available from 8:30am onwards (other 3star and 4 star hotels provide breakfast from 7:00 am onwards) 6) Didn't got the bill for food and water that we ordered as i was willing to payoff in the night( receptionist said that providing bill will add service tax and also the computer is working from 9:00 am till 9:00 PM only, hence cannot generate the bill) (i paid the bill by 10:45 PM on 3rd Oct as next day i had to checkout early by 8:30AM) Note: I got bluffed with the Marketing managers online commitment of "making my stay memorable". It was memorable, but at the negative front.
