This place, for the money was not too bad. From the outside it would be hard to spot this hotel with all the (I'm assuming) homeless people - they were not bothersome if you worry about that and the rough entrance way.
The reception area is very quite and friendly and the courtyard area is also quite with what I'm thinking is a bar area.
Once inside the room (nonsmoking) we noticed it had a wood smell to it and some of the accommodations ( TV, mini fridge, shower, AC) were a little out dated. The wood smell, to clarify was because all the furniture was made from wood.
The only problems we had with this hotel were that it took the hot water a little while to come on the first time - afterward it was great - and because we were there during Sinulog we heard loud music most of the night. Sinulog lady for about 2 days FYI.
